Workshop Description

Ever wanted to learn how to code and host your very own website? Come join us and learn how to code a website using HTML, CSS and JavaScript! We’ll explore how to make interactive web pages, style them, create animations, make websites mobile friendly, and more through hands on activities!

Prerequisites

• A GitHub Account
• Install VSCode (if you are familiar with other IDE’s, feel free to use those instead)

If you want a head start:

• Install Git (optional)
• Git clone the starter kit for this workshop https://github.com/DonaldKLee/HackCamp-2023-Intro-to-Web-Development-Code-Starter
  • If you do not have Git installed, you can just manually download the files in this repository (you only need the images)
  • We will be demoing how to do this during the workshop
