For track prizes, the following criteria will be evaluated by our judges. No more information about the criteria will be shared by our judges or staff.

• Technology- Use and proficiency of the technologies(programming languages, APIs, software) used for the project
• Completion - Functionality of project
• Design - UI and UX, ease of use and accessibility
• Pitch + Originality - Pitch preparedness, types of problems addressed and uniqueness of the solution

Additional Prizes

• Best Design Project: $100 for whole team

• Best Beginner Hack: $100 for whole team

  Awarded to the team with the best project consisting of at least two-thirds beginner hackers

• nwHacks Team Choice Award: $100 for whole team

  Awarded to the team with the most creative and inspiring project, chosen by the members of the nwHacks organizing team.
